Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use blingtitude.com or shop.blingtitude.com, or order from Blingtitude by DSI (registered business name BN 8674012). By using the site or placing an order you agree to them. If you have a signed proposal or contract with us for a specific project, that document applies first where it differs.

2. Quotes and prices

Prices on the site and in the Design your own tool are estimates until we confirm them on your approved mockup. Estimates are valid for 7 days. Prices are in Naira and VAT of 7.5% is added. Delivery within Lagos is charged by area; delivery outside Lagos is quoted separately. Orders of 20 pieces or more are corporate orders and receive a formal quote.

3. Placing an order

1. You send a brief or complete the Design your own tool.
2. We send a production mockup for your approval, normally within one working day.
3. Production begins once you approve the mockup and we receive a 70% deposit.
4. The balance is due before delivery or collection.

4. Invoices and payment

All invoices are subject to the terms of the agreement between Blingtitude and the client. Please check each invoice when you receive it. If you think something on it is wrong, tell us in writing or by email to hello@blingtitude.com within 14 days of receiving the invoice. After 14 days we treat the invoice as accepted.

The balance on an order is due before delivery or collection, and a project is not released until it is paid in full.

5. Production time

Most orders are ready in 24 hours to 5 working days, depending on the quantity and the item. We confirm the exact date on your quote, counted from mockup approval and deposit. Packages for teams and brands, such as welcome kits and brand activations, normally take 2 to 3 weeks. Delays caused by late approvals, late payment or changes to the brief move the date.

6. Your artwork and content

You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, everything you send us, including logos, images and text. We may decline any job that appears unlawful, infringing or offensive. You are responsible for any claim that arises from artwork you supply.

7. Colours, finishes and variation

Screens show colour differently, and stone density, fabric shade and print placement can vary slightly from a preview. The mockup you approve is the reference for your order.

8. Changes and cancellations

You may change an order before production starts. Before we start work on it, a cancelled order gets its deposit back in full. Once work has started (we have bought materials, prepared your artwork or begun production), a cancellation carries a kill fee of 30% of the total invoice value. We take the kill fee from your deposit and refund anything left over. If you have already paid less than the kill fee, you pay the difference. Because every piece is made to order, finished custom work cannot be returned for a change of mind.

9. Delivery and collection

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery or collection. Please check your order on receipt and tell us about any problem with the goods within 3 working days. Problems with an invoice follow the 14 day rule above.

10. Defects and remedies

If an item does not match your approved mockup or is faulty because of how we made it, we will remake it or credit you. This does not cover damage from misuse or washing against the care instructions.

11. Intellectual property

Artwork you supply stays yours. Original designs and templates we create remain ours until you have paid in full; after that you may use them for the agreed goods. Editable source files are not included in the price. Ask us if you need them and we will quote a fee.

12. Showing our work

We may photograph finished work and show it on our website and social media, naming the client, unless you ask us in writing not to before delivery.

13. Experiences and bookings

Seats for public sessions are confirmed once paid. Private sessions are governed by the proposal we agree with you. We may photograph or film sessions for our portfolio; tell us if you do not wish to appear.

Tickets for public sessions are not refundable, but you may hand your seat to someone else if you tell us at least 48 hours before the session. If we cancel or move a session, you can take a seat on the new date or a full refund.

14. Our responsibility

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

15. Using the website

Please do not misuse the site, attempt to break or overload it, or copy our content without permission. The designs, photographs and text on the site belong to Blingtitude or the clients who allowed us to show their work.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes will be heard in the courts of Lagos State. We would always rather solve a problem with you directly first: write to hello@blingtitude.com.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Orders already confirmed are governed by the terms in force when you placed them.
